Quatuor Våren

Curious, audacious, and resolutely focused on creation, the Quatuor Våren is part of a new generation of ensembles that enjoys venturing off the beaten path. Their programmes, always unique, open up new perspectives on chamber music.

For this concert, the journey begins with À l'Orée by Farnaz Modarresifar, a work for string quartet and santur co-commissioned by ProQuartet, where timbres and cultures engage in a rare poetic dialogue. The highlight of the evening: the world premiere of Redshift by Frédéric Maurin, also co-commissioned by ProQuartet and composed for the Quatuor Våren. An invitation to discover as yet unexplored musical territories.
