Croire aux Fauves

Based on the novel by Nastassja Martin, from an idea by Constance Dollé. Adaptation: Sandrine Raynal and Constance Dollé. Directed by Sandrine Raynal. Cast: Constance Dollé, Camille Grandville, Miglen Mirtchev. Running time: 1h30.

A rare theatrical experience: visceral, luminous, necessary. An immersive sound design that transports us to Kamchatka. In August 2015, the anthropologist Nastassja Martin finds herself face to face with a bear in the mountains of Siberia. From this encounter, experienced as an implosion, she drew a book, Croire aux fauves. Bringing together the anthropologist's experience with their own questions as actresses, Constance Dollé (Molière for best solo show 2019) and Sandrine Raynal offer us a luminous show that explores our capacity for transformation and reconstruction. Accompanied by Nathalie Cerda and Miglen Mirtchev, they present a narrative that asks: can one become someone else? How does one become so? What unsuspected strengths do we harbour? A show that awakens what sleeps within us.
