R.O.B.I.N., from Compagnie L'Argument, offers a fresh take on the legendary Robin Hood myth, directed by Maïa Sandoz. Inspired by the film Bicycle Thieves, this creation addresses social injustice and economic inequality with insight and poetry. The story follows Robin and Christabelle, two children faced with poverty and forced to steal in order to survive. Through a lively staging, R.O.B.I.N. engages young and old alike in a reflection on solidarity, freedom and social justice, while offering a captivating and optimistic show.

Robin and Christabelle Des Bois are born into a loving family so poor that they steal to feed themselves. One day, everything changes, and the trial of Robin's sister opens on charges of criminal conspiracy, theft and sabotage. In this show full of humour, Compagnie L'Argument reinvents the legend of Robin Hood through the lens of current political, ecological and societal affairs, seen through the eyes of children and teenagers. The actors invite them to act and react, plunging them into a story between reality and imagination full of shrewd and entertaining ploys, in the heart of a forest or a courtroom, recycled in full view of the audience.
