Overview
Nobody likes to see a bird in a cage, but is it really that simple to open it? Through this seemingly simple question, author and actress Eva Rami explores the complex relationships of domination, non-consent, and confinement that can arise in love.
In her third one-woman show, she once again embodies a multitude of characters, notably a group of women who gravitate around the heroine Elsa.
Like a chorus, and sometimes a fireworks display, these women will accompany the heroine on her journey towards liberation, weaving connections with their own stories.
With humour and tenderness, driven by an affection that is sometimes stifling, they all want to help her break free from the silence that paralyses her.
