Overview
The Salle Gaveau lights up with the ardent soul of Naples in a new programme by Roberto Alagna: « Partenopeo ». The greatest jewels of Neapolitan song are brought together under an evocative title, that of Partenope, the mythical siren at the origin of the city of Naples. A figure of seduction and mystery, whose enchanting song seems to resonate still today… In a stripped-back acoustic setting – piano and voice – Roberto Alagna unfolds its full expressive richness, between melancholy and sunny brilliance, fervour, torment and vitality. With the partnership of his pianist Morgane Fauchois, he traverses a fascinating palette of colours and feelings, with all the generosity, humanity and panache that drive him.
