Rush

A concert in two sets with an interval. The concert begins at 8pm sharp, with no support act.

The legendary band RUSH will make a historic return to Plenitude Arena on Friday 19 February 2027 as part of the Fifty Something Tour, 35 years after their one and only performance in our country. Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson will celebrate more than 50 years of music and pay tribute to their fellow travelling companion, the late Neil Peart.

RUSH pushed rock music towards unmatched heights and unexplored territories, thanks to the unique collaboration between Geddy Lee [bass, keyboards, vocals], Alex Lifeson [guitar, vocals] and the late Neil Peart [drums, lyrics]. With more than 45 million albums sold worldwide, seven GRAMMY® Award nominations, billions of streams, and inductions into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame®, as well as the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, the incalculable influence of this pioneering trio has spanned several generations, attracting one of the most devoted audiences in rock history.

These musicians reinvented and redefined this boundless music, finding a balance between elite musicianship, iconic voices, provocative lyrics and timeless stories, both in sound and in theme.

RUSH notably earned "the third-largest number of consecutive gold/platinum-certified studio albums by a rock group, behind the Beatles and the Rolling Stones". They were also appointed Officers of the Order of Canada in 1996, received the Governor General's Performing Arts Award in 2012, and were honoured with a star on the Canada Walk of Fame and another on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The world tragically said goodbye to Neil Peart on 7 January 2020, after his battle with brain cancer.
