Saga Beethoven

The Orchestre national Bordeaux Aquitaine presents a concert dedicated to the symphonic work of Ludwig van Beethoven under the direction of Marc Minkowski.

This concert celebrates the great symphonic pages composed by Ludwig van Beethoven, a central figure in the German classical and romantic repertoire. The Orchestre national Bordeaux Aquitaine tackles major scores here that have shaped the history of orchestral music, from early symphonies inherited from the Viennese tradition to the more monumental and innovative scores of the 19th century.

On stage, the ensemble deploys the orchestral forces required to restore the power and formal rigor of these scores. The attentive direction of Marc Minkowski favors the clarity of the sections and the dynamics of contrasts, characteristic of his approach to symphonic repertoires. The audience present in the auditorium of the Opéra national de Bordeaux witnesses a rigorous interpretation of these monuments of classical music.

This evening is aimed at lovers of great orchestral music eager to hear these works in the acoustic conditions of this Bordeaux concert hall. The flow of the set allows listeners to appreciate the composer's stylistic evolution through careful performances.
