Sanseverino x Lise Cabaret

Sanseverino and Lise Cabaret come together on the stage of L'Auguste Théâtre for a musical show with gypsy swing influences.

Led by Stéphane Sanseverino, a singer-songwriter active since the early 1990s, this line-up brings together influences from gypsy jazz, blues, and rock. Rising to mainstream prominence in the early 2000s with the album Les Sénégalaises, the artist has distinguished himself through an expressive vocal style and a guitar technique rooted in the gypsy tradition, which he complements with excursions into tango and cabaret music. The artistic lineup for this performance includes Lise Cabaret, Moïra Batz, and Mathilde Febrer, who contribute to the theatrical and vocal dimension of the show.

On stage, the ensemble highlights acoustic arrangements and string-centered instrumentation, prioritizing spontaneity and dynamism. The set alternates between songs with vivid lyrics and instrumental moments. This show is aimed at fans of lyric-driven French song, swing, and live performances blending music and comedy. L'Auguste Théâtre offers a configuration that allows for direct contact with the artists and acoustics well-suited to this repertoire.
