Overview

SENSER – Defying Boundaries Since 1989 Born from the underground energy of free festivals, squats and the acid rave scene, Senser emerges in 1989 by forging an incendiary fusion of beats, hip-hop flow, heavy guitars and multiple musical influences.

Their audacity and love of experimentation give rise to a sound as politically engaged as it is sonically innovative — a singular band, as relevant today as ever. In 1994, Senser signs with Ultimate Records / A&M and releases its debut album Stacked Up, acclaimed worldwide.

The album enters directly at #4 on the British charts, sells over 250,000 copies and firmly establishes the band's place on the alternative scene.

Known for explosive stage energy, Senser sets fire to the largest festivals: Glastonbury (1992-1995, 1998), Reading (1993, 1994), Download (2010), Hellfest (2013), Pukkelpop, and many others, captivating audiences in Europe, the United States and Japan.

Alongside Rage Against The Machine, Henry Rollins, The Levellers, Skunk Anansie or Tool, the band forges a solid reputation as a live machine with an uncompromising message.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Stacked Up, the album is remastered and re-released as Stacked Up XX, with legendary engineer John Dent (Bob Marley, The Clash, Motörhead, The Prodigy), giving new life to this cult record.

2025 marks Senser's grand return with a sixth studio album, Sonic Dissidence. True to their fiercely independent spirit, the record is entirely self-funded, self-produced and published on their own label, Imprint Music.

Still rooted in their signature blend of rock, metal, hip-hop and alternative electro, the album confirms Senser as crossover pioneers. Sonic Dissidence is their most direct and radical statement to date. Unfiltered. No compromise. 100% Senser.
