Overview
VERYSHOW PRODUCTIONS. THE STRANGLERS UK – Punk Rock
Formed in 1974, the provocative Stranglers are set to once again thrill audiences with their distinctive British sound! The setlist is built for the live stage, with the classics “Golden Brown”, “Always The Sun”, “No More Heroes” and “Peaches”, joined by tracks from their latest album, Dark Matters, released on 10 September 2021. Expect a few surprises as well… During their last tour, the band reworked certain elements that will be added to the hits that paved their career, for a one-of-a-kind show.
The Stranglers are unquestionably one of the most exciting and influential English bands of the last few decades, with 24 singles and 18 albums charting in the Top 40.
« Every Stranglers concert is an event, a sulphurous encounter between reality and dream, the balance between fury and beauty »
« Forty years after their first hit, “No More Heroes”, they still rule the roost, launched headlong into the face of disco at the end of the 1970s »
In October 2024, the group celebrated its 50 years in music.
