SHAKING HEAD (10pm) (Art rock - Manchester, UK) Shaking Hand is a Manchester trio that composes long and enchanting post-rock pieces, played in varied tunings and time signatures, drawing inspiration from modernist architecture, the American alternative scene of the 1990s and Midwest emo.
The band's musical DNA follows in the footsteps of experimental guitar groups such as Women, Slint, Sonic Youth, Pavement and Ulrika Spacek, while balancing with the melodic sensitivity of Big Thief and the dynamic intimacy of Yo La Tengo.
