There is first that strange sensation, on this warm summer morning. As if time had suddenly stood still. As if History was taking back its rights. Simone Veil enters the Panthéon, with her husband Antoine. Camille's story, meanwhile, is only just beginning. Asked to speak about Simone Veil on a radio programme, she sets out in search of her memories as a student. Unless these are the memories of an entire generation, which grew up with the struggles of this extraordinary woman. Through the eyes of this young woman, the remarkable life of Simone Veil suddenly comes into view, strikingly modern. How does one find the strength to devote one's life to political battles? How does one receive such a legacy?
