Stuck

Ages 10 and up. By Mounia Nassangar. How do you live with the blockages running through our bodies? With STUCK, her first choreographic work, Mounia Nassangar explores what emerges when words are no longer enough and dance takes over.

Revealed to the wider public in Jean-Paul Gaultier's Fashion Freak Show and Gaspar Noé's Climax, the artist draws on the history of whacking, a dance born in the African-American and Latin-American gay clubs of the 1970s, to create an intense and liberating piece.

Carried by electro, house and techno sounds, five performers with singular backgrounds move through a powerful choreography, where dance attacks the music, twists it and turns it into a true cry of freedom.
