Overview
SURPRISE. Surprise is reality facing a distorting mirror. Its music rearranges the truth, giving it sometimes ridiculous, sometimes despicable appearances.
Its lyrics are characterized by an introspection as nonchalant as it is touching, the result of experimentation dating from early childhood. As marked by the whimsy of Kali Uchis as by the versatility of Mac Miller, Surprise develops a singular identity.
This draws its depth from the diversity of genres explored, from rap to jazz to house on an iconic feat with Mandyspie. Refusing codes, and notably those prescribed for women, Surprise composes, raps and sings with the same insubordination.
With constant perfectionism, she released an EP and an album between 2023 and 2024, leading her to her first full concert at La Boule Noire in early 2025.
Her appearances on Mouv', at the Ici Demain festival or even at Grünt Fest 3 alongside ADVM, establish her as an artist to follow. If there is a world between dream and reality, it is Surprise who embodies it.
