The Temperance Movement - Let It All Out Tour

The Temperance Movement makes a stop at La Cigale to present its direct and energetic rock on the tour.

Formed in London in 2011 by singer Phil Campbell, the British band The Temperance Movement draws on the tradition of blues rock and classic hard rock. Their compositions take direct inspiration from the sounds of the 1970s, blending overdriven guitars and catchy melodies. Their eponymous debut album, released in 2013 on Earache Records, quickly laid the foundations of their musical identity, centred on an organic and raw approach to songwriting.

On stage, the line-up delivers a powerful set in which Phil Campbell's blues-tinged voice comes into its own. Accustomed to European tours and hard-hitting performances, the musicians favour a head-on presence, without superfluous visual artifice, relying entirely on direct interaction with the audience and instrumental cohesion.

This Paris date appeals to fans of rock with vintage influences and overdriven guitars. The layout of the venue allows an appreciable closeness to the musicians, offering acoustics suited to this direct and traditional style of rock.
