The Velveteers

The Velveteers at Point Ephémère

Super! presents The Velveteers on 12 February 2027 at Point Éphémère

The Velveteers inject a visceral energy into their explosive second album, \*A Million Knives\*, a record brimming with punchy rock anthems steeped in melodic indie songwriting. Produced by Dan Auerbach (GRAMMY®-winning), the trio from Boulder, Colorado, captures the raw, intense and profoundly heavy power of their live performances while highlighting finely crafted compositions, thus asserting a singular identity.

The band is driven by the charismatic presence of its leader, Demi Demitro: a true ball of energy with a no-nonsense attitude, armed with thundering guitar riffs and a powerful voice, backed by an explosive pair of drummers. This distinctive two-drummer set-up creates a colossal sonic foundation that propels their raw, dynamic garage rock. On \*A Million Knives\*, this setup blends harmoniously with more modern indie rock influences, evoking the attitude of Wolf Alice, the monumental sonic power of Queens of the Stone Age and the singular voice of Hole.

The Velveteers have won over audiences with an electrifying stage presence and relentless touring, sharing bills with renowned acts such as Smashing Pumpkins, The Black Keys, Greta Van Fleet, Guns N' Roses and Des Rocs. With \*A Million Knives\*, The Velveteers showcase their rise with real flair, delivering a rock 'n' roll album that is as magnificent as it is electrifying.
