Thomas Jolly

To mark its 40th anniversary, the Musée d'Orsay is handing the keys of the celebration over to Thomas Jolly. Beneath the nave, a night of dancing, surprises and collective joy is taking shape. But as for the rest, we won't reveal a thing — or almost — of what awaits you. Because the best surprises are the ones we discover together!

Forty years after its opening, the former railway station that became one of the world's most famous museums invites you on a popular, bold and deeply collective adventure. For one evening, everyone is invited to make this iconic venue their own and become part of the celebration.

Beneath the museum's nave, the architecture, history and spirit of the Orsay generation will come to life to the rhythm of music, dance and a few other surprises... Oops, we've already said too much! See you on the dancefloor for Boum 86.

A tribute to the museum's birth year and to the creative energy that has animated it for forty years. A joyful celebration where generations, imaginations and memories intersect to blow out the museum's 40 candles together!
