About — The artist
Thomas Jolly, born on 1 February 1982 in Rouen, is a French actor and a theatre and opera director.
Artistic director of La Piccola Familia, a theatre company he founded in Rouen in 2006, he directed the national drama centre Le Quai d'Angers from 1 January 2020. He resigned in November 2022 after being appointed, in September, as artistic director for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games and the Summer Paralympic Games in Paris. Along with Laëtitia Guédon, he will succeed Jean Bellorini on 1 January 2027 as director of the TNP de Villeurbanne.
