About — The artist
Thomas Jolly, born 1 February 1982 in Rouen, is a French actor and theatre and opera director.
Artistic director of La Piccola Familia, a theatre company he founded in Rouen in 2006, he ran the Le Quai national dramatic centre in Angers from 1 January 2020. He resigned in November 2022 after being appointed, in September, artistic director of the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2024 Summer Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris. Together with Laëtitia Guédon, he will succeed Jean Bellorini as director of the TNP in Villeurbanne from 1 January 2027.
