The Trio de la Plaine brings this tradition back to life around three instruments, a trio composed of the arpa llanera (traditional Venezuelan harp), the cuatro (small four-string guitar) and maracas, accompanying improvised songs that tell of life, love and the beauty of the landscapes of 'Los Llanos', this vast region of grassy plains...
Their repertoire blends joropos llaneros, pasajes, waltzes and tonadas, as well as other typical rhythms such as bambuco or pasillo. Voice, cello, cuatro: Consuelo Uribe Arpa llanera: Murielle Kopff-Vérité Maracas, cuatro, traverso flutes: Diego Uribe.
