Its name means "travellers". A word that summarises both the diverse origins of its members and their taste for exploration and discovery. For this third Constellation event, the Viatores Quartet places Bartók at the heart of its programme. A major figure of the 20th century, he engages here in a dialogue with two contemporary female composers, Missy Mazzoli and Camille Pépin. Three writing styles, three generations, a shared creative freedom that testifies to the vitality of the string quartet today.
