Overview
Béatrice Murtinger presents a French variety show blending songs and poetic texts on the stage of the Théâtre du Nord-Ouest in Paris.
Béatrice Murtinger offers a recital centred on French song with a strong emphasis on lyrics, in the great tradition of performers who favour the refinement of their arrangements and the power of their words. The show brings together original compositions and covers from the French-language repertoire, carried by a stripped-back acoustic orchestration.
On stage, the performance emphasises closeness with the audience, within the intimate setting of this hall in the ninth arrondissement. The set unfolds without artifice, prioritising the accuracy of the vocal interpretation and the precision of the spoken transitions between songs, in a format aimed at lovers of sung poetry and finely crafted texts.
