Overview
WALLACE CLEAVER at Krakatoa
If you like: Nes, Bekar, Rouhnaa With his new album Marcel, Wallace Cleaver, whose real name is Léo Gond, delivers personal and introspective music. Between nuance and anger, he no longer confines himself solely to rap and explores the realms of chanson and pop.
Across 15 tracks, we share with him the contradictions, doubts, and vulnerabilities of entering adulthood, time passing, loved ones leaving us, and new ones being born.
Marcel is made of sharp contrasts: explosive tracks like "Incendie", and more controlled ones where the artist allows himself to catch his breath, such as "Lettre à moi-même".
