While My Guitar Gently Weeps

What if it all started with an album? For a few years now, director Renaud Cojo has been amusing himself by asking volunteers about the soundtrack to their life: an album that became their sensory landmark, tutor of existence, capable of bringing up memories, emotions and stories.

With While My Guitar Gently Weeps, he offers this project a dazzling embodiment, entrusting this intimate testimony to professional artists who deliver, in turn, their anthology.

Sitting in a circle around a turntable, they recount, in the present, what connects them to a song, before letting it be heard. Gradually, the voices answer each other and draw a common memory, where everyone can recognize a bit of themselves.

In a second phase, these pieces come back to life in a festive concert, carried by the group itself, under the direction of guitarist and composer Mocke Depret.
