Overview
Witchorious is a doom metal band from Chelles (77).
Emerging from the shadows with a first double single in 2020, the trio of Antoine, Lucie and Paul draws on influences ranging from Black Sabbath to Electric Wizard and Amenra, within murky, fuzzy atmospheres punctuated by bluesy vocals and screams.
Witchorious's first LP was released on 16 February 2024 through the Italian label Argonauta Records, an album they have since championed in every venue (Maroquinerie, Petit Bain, Le Ferrailleur) and prestigious festivals of the genre (Westill, DesertFest, Hellfest), in France and abroad (UK, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy).
