Since they made a splash from their 2020 debut, the Leeds quartet Yard Act has established itself as one of the great successes of the British indie scene this decade.
With two top-5 albums, a Mercury Prize nomination and countless concerts and festivals around the world, the band has evolved from its minimalist post-punk roots to become a truly powerful and ambitious outfit.
Currently in the studio with producer Justin Meldal-Johnsen (known for his work with Beck, Nine Inch Nails and Wolf Alice) and with a third album in sight, Yard Act looks set to conquer 2026.
