YAROL POUPAUD (10pm) (Rock - Paris, FR) Yarol Poupaud is a French guitarist, singer, composer and producer recognized for his eclecticism and creative energy.
An essential figure of French rock, he first established himself as a founding member of the FFF group, a pioneer of French Funk Rock in the 1990s. With his instinctive guitar playing and keen sense of rhythm, he shaped a signature sound at the crossroads of rock, funk and soul.
Yarol has multiplied experiences and encounters, from alternative stages to the biggest mainstream tours. He notably accompanied Niagara in the 90s and Johnny Hallyday for several years, as a guitarist, musical director and stage partner.
Passionate about the diversity of sounds and cultures, he has also collaborated with many African, Indian and Jamaican musicians, incorporating reggae, afrobeat and blues influences into his universe.
