ASAP Rocky

ASAP Rocky (stylized as A$AP Rocky or sometimes ASVP Rocky), (pronounced /ˈeɪsæp ˈɹɑki/), whose real name is Rakim Mayers, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, director, and actor born October 3, 1988, in New York. He is one of the members of the New York hip-hop collective A$AP Mob from which he takes his stage name. He released his first mixtape: Live. Love. A$AP in 2011. Its success allowed him to sign with the labels Sony Music Entertainment, RCA Records, and Polo Grounds Music. His first studio album Long. Live. ASAP, released in 2013, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. His second album At. Long. Last. ASAP was released in 2015. Titled Testing, his third album was published in 2018. Don't Be Dumb is his fourth album, released January 16, 2026, via AWGE / A$AP Worldwide and RCA Records, marking his return after almost eight years since Testing.

Besides his rap career, he directs several music videos, notably for himself, other members of the A$AP Mob, or Danny Brown. He is also a producer under the pseudonym Lord Flacko.
