María Concepción Balboa Buika, known as Concha Buika and Buika, is a Spanish singer of Equatoguinean origin, born on May 11, 1972, in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. She grew up among Gypsies and blends flamenco, copla, jazz, soul, and funk with a voice of husky inflections. According to her record label, Warner Music Spain, she is one of the most unique singers in the current Spanish music scene.
