About — The artist
Calva Louise is a rock band formed in London, England, in 2016. It consists of vocalist Jess Allanic, drummer Ben Parker, and bassist Alizon Taho. The band has released four full-length albums: Rhinoceros in 2019, Euphoric in 2021, Over the Threshold in 2023, and Edge of the Abyss in 2025. They have performed internationally, including at festivals in the UK, Europe, and the USA, as well as solo and in duos with other artists. Reflecting the band members themselves, the group's music is multilingual. The band was named one of BBC Radio 1's "artists to watch" in 2024.
