Daniel Lévi, born on August 26, 1961, in Constantine, French Algeria, and who passed away on August 6, 2022, in the 3rd arrondissement of Marseille (Bouches-du-Rhône), was a French singer-songwriter and pianist.
Known to the general public for his performance, in a duet with Karine Costa, of Ce rêve bleu, the theme song for the animated film Aladdin in 1993, Daniel Lévi achieved immense popular success by playing the role of Moïse in the musical Les Dix Commandements in 2000.
Daniel Lévi released seven solo albums, the first under the pseudonym Daniel Neuville. His musical genres were tinged with jazz, soul music, World music, and French variety.
