About — The artist

Elmer Food Beat, sometimes abbreviated EFB, is a French rock band from Nantes, in the Loire-Atlantique region. Formed in 1986, they are notably known for their bawdy, humorous lyrics. Their album 30 cm was a hit in 1990, with tracks such as Daniela, La Caissière de chez Leclerc and Le Plastique, c'est fantastique. At the 1991 Victoires de la Musique, Elmer Food Beat was named Best Band of the Year. After a difficult period, they went on hiatus in 1993. They made a fresh start at the end of 2006.
