About — The artist
Gaëtan Roussel, born on 13 October 1972 in Rodez (Aveyron), is a French singer-songwriter, guitarist, and radio host.
He is the lead singer of the bands Louise Attaque and Tarmac, as well as the duo Lady Sir alongside Rachida Brakni.
He launched his solo career in 2010 with the album Ginger, which earned him three Victoires de la Musique awards: Album of the Year, Rock Album of the Year, and Male Artist of the Year. This was followed by five other opuses: Orpailleur (2013), Trafic (2018), Est-ce que tu sais ? (2021), Éclect!que (2023), and Marjolaine (2025).
Furthermore, he has also composed original soundtracks for several films, including Camille redouble in 2012, and hosted radio shows or segments, notably Clap Hands on RTL2.
