About — The artist
Good Kid is a Canadian indie rock band from Toronto, Ontario. It has five members: lead singer Nick Frosst, bassist Michael Kozakov, drummer Jon Kereliuk, and guitarists David Wood and Jacob Tsafatinos. The band's mascot, called Nomu Kid, appears mainly in its marketing and social media. The band released its first single in 2015, its first EP in 2018 and its first album in 2026. In late 2020, the band gained popularity through the use of its music online, notably during Fortnite streams. The band chose not to file DMCA claims so that its music could keep being used in those streams. Good Kid mainly releases its music as singles, later grouped into sequentially numbered self-titled EPs, with additional tracks.
