JPEGMafia (stylised JPEGMAFIA), real name Barrington DeVaughn Hendricks, born on 22 October 1989 in New York, USA, is an American rapper, singer, producer, and musician, originally from Baltimore, Maryland.
Hendricks produces his own solo albums. His first mixtape under the name JPEGMAFIA, Communist Slow Jams, released online in April 2015, was followed by his second: Darkskin Manson a month later, in May 2015. His debut album, Black Ben Carson, was released on 15 February 2016. His second studio album, Veteran, came out on 19 January 2018 and was critically acclaimed. His third album, All My Heroes Are Cornballs, was released on 13 September 2019 and became his most famous album, debuting at number 105 on the Billboard 200 and recognised as one of the best albums of the year by numerous publications.
