Meute

Meute (also typeset MEUTE) is a German techno brass band from Hamburg. Composed of eleven musicians (percussion, brass, and saxophones), the group covers and arranges techno, house, and deep house works by known DJs, augmenting them with electronic rhythms created by brass band instruments. In doing so, they seek to create 'a new genre by combining hypnotic driving techno and expressive brass band music', 'thus detaching electronic music from DJ turntables'.

Meute has toured throughout Europe, the Americas, and southern Africa and performed in a variety of venues, including city streets, music festivals, and classical concert halls.
