Kid Francescoli

Kid Francescoli is the project of Marseille-born producer Mathieu Hocine, who has become a leading figure in French electro-pop. He returns with Kind Wave, his new album, and an international tour. A first show at L'Olympia has already sold out, and an additional date has been added.

« Ce qui m'inspire le plus dans la musique, c'est la musique elle-même... et l'effet qu'elle a sur les gens  », sums up Kid Francescoli. A line that tells us a great deal about the Marseille-born producer, composer, songwriter and singer. It also suggests that the very prolific French electro scene is a matter of passion and that, within it, Kid Francescoli is like a fish in the Mediterranean, at ease in the warm waters of electro-pop, of eternal summer, of smiling loves and of evenings that stretch on until the radiant dawn.

Kid Francescoli knows it. With this seventh album, a milestone has been reached. Admittedly, Kid keeps his contemplative side, that subtle balance between electro and indie pop, between dizzying instrumentals and songs, but he is clearly exploring new territory. With Kid Francescoli, let yourself be carried away by the « Kind Wave  ».
