Mouss et Hakim

Mouss et Hakim (also spelled Mouss & Hakim) is a music group formed by Mustapha and Hakim Amokrane, two brothers also known for being members of the group Zebda. They also participated in the group 100% Collègues, notably with flamenco guitarist Bernardo Sandoval, as well as on the album Chants de lutte by Motivés.

In 2003, they performed Des 2 côtés with Cheb Mami on the album Du sud au nord.

In 2004, they participated in a cover of the song Le Nougat on Brigitte Fontaine's album Rue Saint Louis en l'Île.

They released their first album in 2005: Mouss et Hakim ou le contraire.

Origines contrôlées, their second album, features covers of songs from Algerian immigration. This album echoes the festival organised annually since 2004 by Tactikollectif, which is also the group's label.

The double album Vingt d'honneur, released in 2010, retraces the group's musical journey: songs of immigration, tracks by Zebda, 100% Collègues, Magyd Cherfi, Claude Nougaro, and a cover of Bella ciao.

In 2014-2015, in Frères d'armes, a historical television series by Rachid Bouchareb and Pascal Blanchard, Mouss Amokrane presented the biography of Lazare Ponticelli.

In 2016, they wrote the music for Comme des lions, a documentary by Françoise Davisse. In 2017, they participated in the album Au café du canal, a tribute to Pierre Perret, covering Je suis de Castelsarrasin with Olivia Ruiz and Lo Barrut.

In 2018, they contributed to the soundtrack of the film I Feel Good by Gustave Kervern and Benoît Delépine under the name of the political party they support, Les Motivé-e-s. They are notably seen on screen performing the film's main song during the final sequence.
