About — The artist
Myrath (Arabic: ميراث meaning "heritage"), initially known as X-Tazy, is a Franco-Tunisian progressive metal band formed in 2001 by guitarist Malek Ben Arbia from Ezzahra. The band is known for its blend of Arabic and Middle Eastern instruments with power metal and progressive rock.
The band itself has started to call its genre blazing desert metal.
