Olivia Rodrigo

Olivia Rodrigo, born February 20, 2003 in Murrieta (California), is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and actress.

As an actress, she became known for the role of Paige Olvera in the sitcom Frankie and Paige and later for the role of Nini Salazar-Roberts in High School Musical: The Musical: The Series, the first series in the High School Musical franchise.

After signing with Interscope and Geffen Records, she released her debut single, Drivers License, in 2021, which achieved massive success in several countries including the United States and broke several streaming records upon release. Her debut studio album, Sour, was released on May 21, 2021. It broke the record for the most-streamed album in one week by a female artist on the Spotify streaming platform and became the most-streamed album by a female artist on the platform by 2024 with over 12 billion streams.

Her next two albums, Guts (2023) and You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love (2026), each contain a number-one single in the United States (Vampire and Drop Dead), making her the first artist to achieve number-one chart positions for the debut singles of her three consecutive albums.

Throughout her career, she has received three Grammy Awards, four MTV Video Music Awards, and one Brit Award. She was also named "Artist of the Year" by American magazine Time in 2021 and "Woman of the Year" by music magazine Billboard in 2022.
