About — The artist
Shadow of Intent is an American deathcore band from Hartford, Connecticut, formed in 2013.
They have produced five studio albums, the first two of which, created by the duo Ben Duerr and Chris Wiseman, are themed around the Halo games. The band expanded from 2016 onwards, and the theme of subsequent albums is no longer linked to the Halo universe. Their latest album, Imperium Delirium, was released in June 2025.
Their musical style is often described as deathcore, and includes a melodic aspect as well as symphonic orchestrations.
