About — The artist
Bridie Monds-Watson, known by the stage name Soak, is an Irish singer-songwriter from Derry, Northern Ireland, born on 2 May 1996. The Guardian described her music as "a vivid portrait of the profound reflection of adolescence".
Her first studio album, Before We Forgot How to Dream, was released in May 2015. The name "Soak" is a phonetic portmanteau formed from "soul" and "folk".
