Tokio Hotel triggered one of the greatest pop hysteria of the 2000s: starting from Magdeburg, Bill and Tom Kaulitz conquered adolescent Europe with « Durch den Monsun », androgynous look and rock tinged with emo, before reinventing themselves as a synthpop duo based in Los Angeles.
