Wolves in the Throne Room (WITTR) is an American black metal band from Olympia, Washington. They explore abstract themes, often related to nature and paganism. The band is currently still active. Their labels are Southern Lord Records, Vendlus Records and Artemisia Records. Their musical style is often described as “Cascadian black metal”, a term that characterises their music as having a crystalline and meditative quality.
