Overview
Co-hosted with Opéra Orchestre Normandie Rouen / Rive Gauche 106 as part of the Festival Tempo!
In 360, Mehdi Kerkouche breaks with traditional choreography to take on the immersive energy of a concert, brought to life by Lucie Antunes's electronic music, within Emmanuelle Favre's grandiose set design, where the audience, standing all around a circular stage, becomes part of the action.
Through vivid tableaux, the dancers paint a striking portrait of contemporary youth, in search of a voice and representation.
Between utopia and dystopia, their voices and bodies unite to build something shared with the audience, intensely exploring the challenges, aspirations and contradictions of a generation in a world in flux.
Through their movements, the performers invite reflection on living together, a mirror of the dynamics and issues shaping our society. The show ends in a festive communion where the dancers and the audience, like festival-goers, dance together to embody collective action.
