Overview
With ‘A New Home’, his first album as leader, drummer and composer Archibald Ligonnière unveils modern, lyrical and accessible jazz.
Joined by an exceptional quintet (Stéphane Guillaume, Tom Ibarra, Jean-Yves Jung, Gildas Boclé), he crafts music rich in harmonies and emotions, at once intimate and luminous.
‘A New Home’ is a quest for balance between virtuosity and simplicity, between collective energy and personal sensitivity. Archibald Ligonnière - Drums Stéphane Guillaume - Tenor and soprano saxophones Tom Ibarra - Guitar Jean-Yves Jung - Piano Gildas Boclé - Double bass
