In 2021, Bruno Angelini created with Fabrice Martinez and Éric Echampard "Transatlantic Roots," a program devoted to American counter-culture, including the piece Cage's opening dedicated to the creative partnership John Cage/Merce Cunningham.
This particular blend of contemporary harmony, groove, electronic and improvisation led him to want to develop this aesthetic across an entire repertoire. This will be the starting point for Constellations.
Géraldine Laurent, Fabrice Martinez, Éric Echampard and Bruno Angelini are musicians with complementary qualities, capable of combining various climates and playing modes, offering multiple possibilities: velocity, tonicity, lyricism, poetry, abundance, complex rhythms, collective improvisation… A constellation of possibilities.
