The Sound of Milk, the album of grace

Nine years after Ouï, Camille releases a new album, The Sound of Milk (2026) – an album that is original in both its creative process and its form as a triptych, as it is made up of Naissance (2015), a sound diary, Enfance (2020), a pocket musical comedy, and Adolescence (2025), a pop album. "Only joy consoles me, and it is my role as a woman, a human being and a mother to nourish it, to dream it, and to repair the world through song by making it vibrate once again!" she tells us through it.

In a dark and turbulent era on the social, political and ecological fronts, Camille chooses to speak of joy – both powerful and vulnerable – of the feminine, of motherhood, of childhood and of family in the broadest sense, and of the passing on of music and timeless values. She asks herself: how can we live day to day in the face of today's challenges? How can we care for the children and the inner child of each of us, for the living and for Life itself? What can we pass on to them in order to re-enchant the world?

Tender, lucid and committed, this album confronts us with the problems and challenges facing humanity. It also cradles us, awakening us to love and rekindling the stars where they have gone out.

More than a professional singer – which she has never felt herself to be – Camille is a woman who sings with the talent and generosity of great creators touched by grace. She seeks the vibrating note, the sacred sound. She returns to the origins of song, to its fundamental function, that of prayer, to gently awaken us to that part of heaven within us, to make us mindful of our mother nature and of our human sisters and brothers. In doing so, she invites us to connect with the great source of Love available to all.

With The Sound of Milk, Camille bares herself and gives us an album in her own image: committed, spiritual, free and alive!
