Overview
Brad Mehldau emerged on the American jazz scene in the mid-1990s. Described as "the most influential jazz pianist of the last 20 years" by the New York Times, and a Grammy Award winner, this gifted and charismatic pianist owes his dazzling career to his great sensitivity and his innate sense of melody and improvisation. One of the most lyrical and intimate voices in contemporary piano, he has forged a unique path, embodying the essence of jazz exploration, classical Romanticism and the charm of pop.
In Quatorze Rêveries, Brad Mehldau reflects on the inner experience we create from our own consciousness, independently of others. A kind of meditation across the different directions the artist wishes to explore, allowing the beauty of the music to reveal itself while opening the way to new discoveries.
