Overview
Opening concert of the Liszt International Piano Academy 2027
This exceptional concert will bring together two great Lisztian pianists: Cyprien Katsaris, a pianist of world renown, has also been President of the Honorary Committee of the association Sur les pas de Liszt since 2012. Gábor Farkas is one of the greatest Hungarian pianists; for the past year he has been Rector of the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest (founded by Liszt himself in 1875). These two maestros will offer us a very original programme, with pieces performed solo and others performed for two pianos (the detailed programme will be announced later).
