Décal'âge
Jérôme was 17 and Alice was 37.
Overview
Jérôme was 17 and Alice was 37. Twenty years later they meet again, and their décal'âge (age gap) tips into a déball'âge (unveiling). She was his teacher in love, and he was her forbidden fruit. How will they behave when they see each other again after twenty years?
What are their secret motives? What might their illicit affair have led to? How will they cope with the gap that has opened up between them? In one hour and two eras, between passion and settling of scores, you revisit their scandalous story to learn the truth... the whole truth?
A raw, daring and torrid tragicomedy that shakes up age and taboos. Press: “…Décal'âge is a touching and lucid play, which invites the audience to reflect on love, time, and what remains or not of past passions…” Christian Dumoulin – Culture Evasions.
With: Catherine Sandner, Jarno Eslan. Directed by: Brigitte Bloch-Tabet
